We were both born and raised in Washington State. I was raised in Marysville, Washington, and Jaclyn was raised in Arlington, Washington.

 

We went to Everett Community College and thereafter, went to Western Washington University. From University, we obtained teaching positions in the same school distict in Lebanon, Oregon. We taught in Lebanon, Oregon for four years.

 

Knowing that we desired to travel, we decided to cut ties in Lebanon and move to Portland, Oregon as we prepared for our move overseas.

 

Then, in 2012, we moved to Kazakhstan. In 2015, we moved to Belarus.

 

 

Up to our move to Kazazkhstan, we enjoyed traveling, hiking, and exploring many states throughout the great US. We loved and spent considerable time in areas such as Bend, Oregon; Bellingham, Washington; Portland, Oregon; Rockaway, Oregon; and Portland, Maine. We have yet to see many natural wonders throughout the US, and so we are very excited to explore in the future.
